Specialist IT services consultancy, Altis Consulting, has beefed up its team in Canberra as it sets about growing its business in the federal government sector.

Altis ACT regional manager, Shaune Rolfe, said Matthew McNamara had been appointed solutions delivery manager in Canberra, responsible for 'growing the company's footprint' in the federal government sector and managing the data warehousing and business intelligence requirements for public sector clients. 'Matthew will be a great addition to the team with his strong IT experience in the public sector.  As governmental organisations grapple with information management challenges, Matthew's experience is highly prized and will strategically enable us to engage with our customers and partners.'

Altis specialises in business analytics, business intelligence, data management and data warehousing.

Most recently McNamara, a 20-year industry veteran, was managing principal at UXC Consulting where he was responsible for business development, and was also senior account manager, responsible for recruitment and client services at Clicks IT Recruitment. He also worked in IT roles, including as a software developer, in several federal government agencies, and as product development manager at Wizard Information Services.
