Carrier network specialist Tellabs has appointed Sharat Sinha to the position of vice president, Asia Pacific sales.

Mr Sinha most recently served as Cisco's managing director, service provider partners/channels for the Asia-Pacific region. He previously worked for Ericsson and VSNL.
He holds a Bachelor of Technology in electronics engineering from the Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET) and a Masters of Technology in industrial & management engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
