Payments software and services company, GFG Group, has appointed a 20-year IT industry veteran as the new chief of its global operations, to be based in New Zealand.
GFG Group executive director, Dennis Row, said today that Kim de Moor has been appointed global operations manager. To be based in Auckland, de Moor was previously director of software development at unified communications and contact centre software company Zeacom. He also worked for Jarin Consulting and Keystone, a software company he co-founded in the early nineties.
Row said that de Moor's mandate was to run the day-to-day global operations of GFG Group, responsible for all operational decisions, and as a member of GFG's senior management team, he would contribute to developing and implementing the company's strategic direction.
'His software development background and deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle inside product delivery-focused organisations means he comprehensively understands what a company needs to do to deliver innovative, quality product based on best practice, Row said.
