DST Global strengthens team

IT services and software provider to the investment management industry, DST Global Solutions, has appointed a new chief of its global data management and analytics business.

DST CEO, Arun Sarwal, announced the appointment of Julian Webb to the position with a key focus on accelerating the market uptake of the company's 'award winning data management and analytics solution,' Anova.  Sarwal said Webb would also drive R&D activities to ensure the solution 'remains world class.'

According to Webb, 'Increasing demands from regulators, investors and senior management means there is a growing need for products and services that provide increased visibility of data and analytics.'

Prior to joining DST Global Solutions, Webb worked for Matrix Private Equity, JP Morgan and most recently, as chief operating officer for a boutique software company.

Webb is based in DST's London, UK headquarters and reports to Sarwal.
