HID Global appoints NZ region sales manager

Secure ID solutions vendor, HID Global, has appointed a new regional sales manager for its New Zealand operations as the company seeks to further builds its business in the region.

HID's managing director, Asia Pacific, Simon Siew, announced the appointment of Stephen Blakey as regional sales manager identity and access management, responsible for driving sales growth for the company's physical access and logical access business in the region.

Based in Auckland, Blakey will report to Jordan Cullis, director of sales for Australia and New Zealand. Prior to joining HID Global, Blakey worked in the security industry. Siew said Blakey would pursue a variety of strategic partnership opportunities with OEMs, distributors, system integrators and industry organisations.

'With the wealth of experience in leading major security projects and his solid business networks across the region, Stephen will help strengthen HID Global's sales efforts in New Zealand as well as fulfill our on-going Genuine HID commitment to enhance customer value,' Siew said.
