Lenovo has boosted its Australian and New Zealand sales team with the appointment of a new channel manager as the company ramps up its PC sales efforts in the region.
Lenovo Australia and New Zealand managing director, Alan Munro, announced the appointment of Fred Viet to the role of channel sales manager responsible for expanding distribution within the channel and continuing to develop strong relationships with Lenovo's business partners across the ANZ region.
Viet joins the Lenovo ANZ team with almost seven years experience in Lenovo's French business, where he held various senior management and leadership positions.
'As Lenovo continues to grow in the ANZ market, Viet's global experience and understanding of the sales process will be a key asset to the company locally,' Munro said. According to Munro, Viet's role in winning the company key clients including Air France, Thales and Cap Gemini was integral to Lenovo's success in the French market.
'We are very focused on strengthening ties with our channel partners and on the continued growth of our partner network in ANZ,' Munro said.
