Geoimage boosts team by five

IT People - People

Australian satellite imagery, image processing and geospatial services company, Geoimage, had boosted its team of specialists with five new appointments to meet increasing demand for its products and services.

The company says that expansion of product and service offerings has been accompanied by expanded geographic reach and entry into new market sectors, with the addition of new staff to sales, image processing, geospatial and IT teams.

Natalie Ladner has been appointed sales manager for mining and petroleum clients, joining Geoimage from Esri Australia in Perth where she was business development manager looking after the company's Western Australian mining and petroleum clients.

Jarmo Crivelli, a Swiss born national, also joins Geoimage as sales manager for the company's inbound environmental sales. Before moving into sales, Crivelli held a range of technical roles, previously working as an IT-Engineer in Switzerland and subsequently a GIS Specialist in South Africa.

Geoimage also appointed Siobhán Starr as IT manager to support what it says is the growing demand for dedicated information technology services which underpin all geospatial and imagery products.

David Brady, formerly with Fugro Spatial Solutions' aerial mapping and survey division, joins Geoimage as geomatic engineer and will be based in the company's Perth office, while Natasha Teffer has been appointed geospatial analyst. Teffer recently finished a masters in environmental management at the University of Queensland and had been working on the AusCover-TERN Landsat based project.
