Software vendor, Progress Software Corporation, has appointed a 17-year industry veteran as the new head of its Asia Pacific and Japan operation.
Keith Budge takes over as vice president and managing director for the region, joining Progress from previous senior executive positions in Asia Pacific with EMC Data Computing Division, Business Objects S.A, Oracle and Telstra.
Christopher Larsen, executive vice president of Global Field Operations for Progress, said Budge will be based in Singapore, and will be responsible for managing a single integrated and customer-focused sales, services, and support organisation for all channels across Asia Pacific and Japan.
Budge reports to Christopher Larsen and takes over the post from Henaghan, who was relocated to North America to manage the Americas region.
According to Larsen, Progress has earned a strong reputation across Asia for delivering 'best-in-class enterprise software products, solutions and services.'
'Progress has been present in Asia Pacific for more than ten years and is well represented in fifteen countries across the region. I am delighted to welcome Keith to the Progress team. He joins us with tremendous experience and success in the Asia Pacific region.'
