Changing of the financial guard at NetApp

NetApp has announced that Nicholas Noviello, currently senior vice president of finance and global controller, will take over as CFO when Steve Gomo retires at the end of the year.


"Steve has played a key role in NetApp's success over the past nine years," said Tom Georgens, president and CEO of NetApp. "He personifies NetApp's high-integrity culture and has helped us build a successful business model, a sound financial strategy, and a strong balance sheet. Under Steve's leadership, we have developed an accomplished finance team to continue to execute our strategic plan."

Mr Noviello joined NetApp in 2008 as vice president and corporate controller and was subsequently promoted to senior vice president of finance and global controller.
