Telstra adds one million mobile services, but Sensis plummets

New manager for Cisco New Zealand

Cisco System has appointed Geoff Lawrie as country manager for its New Zealand operations. He will report to Ross Fowler, Cisco's Australia and New Zealand managing director.
Lawrie replace David Barker who is returning to Australia to an unspecified role with Cisco following three years running the New Zealand operation.

Prior to joining Cisco, Lawrie was working as a consultant, providing business development and capital market services to companies in the New Zealand technology sector. He was previously the managing director of GDC Communications Ltd, a telecommunications and IT services company. Prior to that he was managing director of Microsoft's operations in New Zealand for several years.
