Telstra adds one million mobile services, but Sensis plummets

KPMG Australia has appointed the former CIO of General Motors Holden, and former KPMG executive, Julie Fahey, to head its information, communications and entertainment line of business.
KPMG said her appointment would allow the incumbent, Bruce Phillips, to focus on his primary role as national managing partner of KPMG’s National Markets group which leads the firm's six lines of business: ICE, Industrial Markets, Financial Services, Consumer Markets, Government and Energy and Natural Resources.

Fahey left KPMG 10 years ago and in addition to working for GMH has been deputy managing director of SAP and held a number of other roles. Between 1987 – 1998, she was a KPMG program manager providing strategic IT advice to several major clients.
