IT People - People

Peripherals and accessories vendor Belkin has revamped its senior ranks in Australia and New Zealand with two new hires.

Belkin ANZ's former managing director Patrick Domingue is taking up a new role with the company in the US, and has been replaced by Ian McLean.

Mr McLean joins the company from Seagate, where he was responsible for the storage business in ANZ. He previously held senior sales and marketing roles at Netgear and Netcomm.

Also new at Belkin ANZ is head of marketing and product management Brendan Sparks.

He was most recently product marketing manager for plasma and 3D TV at Samsung, and previously held marketing management roles at Fuji Xerox Printers and Canon Australia.

"I am really pleased that we have been able to attract such high quality candidates to join the Belkin team in ANZ. There is no doubt in my mind that the addition of Ian and Brendan will take the already successful business we have in ANZ to a new level," said Alan Sparks, VP of Belkin's Asia operation.
