Hewlett-Packard has appointed a new head of its imaging and printing enterprise group for the Australia-New Zealand region to lead the servicing of what it says is a growing list of new customer contracts.

HP announced the promotion of Christopher James-Killer to lead its South Pacific imaging and printing group (IPG) managed enterprise solutions (MES) business, effective immediately.

A spokeswoman for HP said that James-Killer takes up the job as HP signs a 'growing list of MPS contracts including 3M Australia, Allens Arthur Robinson (AAR), who renewed their contract last year and SGS, who have realised cost savings between 30-70 percent by choosing HP's industry-leading MPS offerings, while reducing their environmental footprint.' The spokeswoman also said that, as well as being on the MPS panel for the Department of Education NSW, HP was recently put on the New Zealand All-of-Government panel.

James-Killer joined HP in January 2007 as a major account manager and was promoted to district sales manager in 2008, responsible for the southern & New Zealand regions, and previously worked for Lexmark and Ericsson Telecommunications.  James-Killer replaces Guyon Collins, who has transferred to North America as the account director of Staples.
