Quest Software has appointed Barrie Sheers as vice president and general manager of its Asia-Pacific Japan region.

"We expect Barrie's wealth of go-to-market strategy expertise will help expand our reach in this part of the world.' 
Sheers will be based in Quest's Singapore office. He has more than 25 years experience in sales and general management, including stints at Sybase and EMC.
