Nokia's Gordon gets regional gig

Nokia has appointed Neil Gordon as its vice president, sales for Southeast Asia Pacific.


"Neil has a wealth of Nokia experience in many markets including Asia, Middle East, Africa and Europe with his previous role as head of sales operations based in Finland," said Colin Giles, senior vice president and head of global sales.

"He is highly recognised for his sales and financial acumen and drive for results. Neil has now moved to Singapore to lead the SEAP sales unit with this new appointment."

Mr Gordon is a graduate of the University of Johannesburg and a member of the South African Institute of Professional Accountants. He has also worked for wireless device and accessory distributor Brightpoint in the Middle East.

Chris Carr, Mr Gordon's predecessor, will return to Australia as general manager for Australia and New Zealand.
