Brocade boosts staff numbers, opens Canberra office

Network vendor Brocade has opened a Canberra office to handle the company's business with the Federal Government. Several related appointments have also been made.


"Federal Government business is an important focus for us and the addition of the new Canberra based office is a significant step in the right direction for Brocade's federal business," said Graham Schultz, regional director for Australia and New Zealand.

Along with the opening of the Canberra office, Brocade has appointed seven new staff: Adam Doyle (pre sales, IP, Federal Government), Pat Devlin (enterprise sales, IP, NSW), Chris Bull (service provider, Australia and New Zealand), Christian Navarette (channel manager, volume, Australia and New Zealand), Jason Finlayson (channel manager, value, Australia and New Zealand), Ben Stewart (technical support engineer, IP) and Bernie Parczyk (support account manager, Australia and New Zealand).

The appointees will work from the Sydney and Canberra offices.

Another four roles will be filled in the next quarter: application delivery products sales, application delivery products systems engineering, regional sales manager, and strategic account manager.

Brocade also announced that existing employees Mick Slack and Trevor Jones will take up newly created roles with responsibility for Hewlett-Packard enterprise sales across the Asia Pacific region.
