Symantec's Sly appointment

Symantec has promoted Greg Sly to the role of public sector sales director for the Pacific region.


Craig Scroggie, vice president and managing director for the Pacific region said the promotion "demonstrates the high calibre of the team at Symantec that we were able to make such an important appointment from within the organisation. The public sector is a crucial part of our business and I'm confident that Greg will be successful in meeting the needs of both federal government and South Australia."

Mr Sly joined the company in 2007, and was most recently the APJ specialist sales manager for compliance and security. He previously worked at Objective Corporation and the Australian Institute of Sport.

He holds a BSc (Hons, first class) from the Australian National University.
