IT People - People

Managed services and IT automation company, Kaseya, has promoted Australia and New Zealand territory manager, Tim Dickinson to a regional business development role in Oceania and South-East Asia.

Martin Ashby, executive vice president, APAC at Kaseya, said that Dickinson, who will be based in Sydney, had excelled at building the company's presence in the ANZ region, and would now 'leverage this experience into his new role, to champion managed services as the channel's preferred service delivery model across broader South East Asia.'

Ashby said Dickinson will help drive the expansion of strategic managed service offerings in important markets including Indonesia and Philippines, and that he had helped establish Kaseya's 'market dominance' in Australia & New Zealand from 2006.

'Today, the company has more than 500 managed services providers (MSP) partners in the region.'

According to Dickinson, the company's MSP partners have seen substantial growth of their revenue and profit margin. 'At Kaseya, we provide more than just the tools - we build a community to nurture managed services expertise and enable our partners to truly revolutionise their business. I'm looking forward to continuing this mission across the region.'

Dickinson has more than 25 years experience in the IT, outsourcing and finance industries. Prior to Kaseya, he spent several years in the United States working for American Technology companies SonicWALL and LaserFiche DI Software.
