Data Management
Data management solutions provider, DataFlux, has a new principle solutions architect for its Australia and New Zealand business to help push business expansion in the ANZ market.
DataFlux ANZ managing director, Saul Cunningham said Dominic Micic, formerly an information management sales specialist with SAP BusinessObjects, had been appointed to the role.
Cunningham said Micic was an accomplished data management professional with five years experience in Australia and New Zealand and more than a decade working in the IT industry.
'His most recent role as information management sales specialist with SAP BusinessObjects focused on utilising his data management knowledge to increase sales of data management solutions to new and existing SAP customers. Dominic's appointment is a real bonus for DataFlux, as his pre-sales support experience will help drive growth of our solutions in the Australian and New Zealand corporate market.'
Cunningham said Micic's responsibilities will include providing the sales team with technical support during the sales process, while increasing awareness of the company's solutions in the marketplace. 'He will utilise his strong marketing and sales background to ensure customers understand how data management solutions help organisations improve productivity without increasing costs.'
According to Cunningham, the company's new technology offering, the DataFlux Data Management Platform, combines data quality, data integration and master data management (MDM) capabilities within a single, unified platform. 'By empowering both the business users and IT staff, the new platform expands the reach of data management to more people in any organization.'
