Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.
LogicaCMG has appointed Bernadette Harkin as the managing director of its Telecommunications Solutions business.
Her primary responsibility will be to broaden the portfolio of services and solutions the company offers in Australia. She joins LogicaCMG with more than 20 years experience in the IT industry, with companies including HP and Wang Getronics.
LogicaCMG intends to provide further value added services to its customers and to grow the business. These services will include managed services and business process outsourcing (BPO), content and media solutions, and cross-industry portfolios from LogicaCMG such as SAP, security, records and information management.
"Telecommunications is a core focus for LogicaCMG globally. We support more than 300 telecoms operators throughout 130 countries and our systems process two out of every three text messages sent worldwide," said Colin Holgate, CEO of LogicaCMG in Australia.
