TechnologyOne boosts financial, managed services

Enterprise software provider, TechnologyOne has created a senior role in the company to service the financial and managed services markets, appointing a former Mincom director to the position, as it realigns its business along industry sector lines.



TechnologyOne executive chairman, Adrian Di Marco, announced the appointment of Jennifer Johnson to the role, and said that she will oversee the development of the company’s new “best practice” templated enterprise software solutions, which are being designed to specifically address the unique needs of each sector.

“With more than 26 years experience in the commercial software industry, 16 years of which were spent at Mincom, Ms Johnson’s has significant experience in bringing commercial enterprise software solutions to market within targeted industry sectors,” di Marco said.

Di Marco also said that Johnson was a core member of the team behind the development and launch of the Mincom Axis offering, and she took on the role of global director for the solution in 2007.

According to Di Marco, TechnologyOne counts more than 70 financial services providers as customers, including Arab Bank, Bank Negara Malaysia, HCF, WilsonHTM, and SunSuper, and in the managed services sector, customers include Ticketek Australia and New Zealand, Fairfax NZ, Wotif.com, Channel 7, FKP, Felix Resources and the NZ Automobile Association.

Di Marco also said Johnson would work closely with the research and development, service delivery, and the company’s sales and marketing teams to ensure delivery of solutions and services tailored to the financial and managed services markets.

“TechnologyOne is realigning its business to support the key sectors it operates in, which will greatly benefit our clients. Other solutions managers have been appointed to look after the local government, health & community services, higher education, state, federal and central government and utilities sectors, enabling each of them to concentrate completely on his or her area of expertise to help customers solve more problems and meet their changing requirements.”
