The Government has offered Australia's three mobile operators, and vividwireless, renewal of their existing spectrum allocated on 15 year licences in the late 90s and early 2000s at set prices, while the Government expects to rake in $3 billion.
Dipak Kumar, general manager, Digital Technology Solutions group for Hitachi Australia, said today Miranda Fong had been appointed to the role of sales executive for the NSW, Queensland and New Zealand territories, replacing Sue Perez.
Kumar said Fong would be based in Sydney, and would work closely with Hitachi authorised dealers to raise awareness of the Hitachi brand and increase market share within the data projector and interactive whiteboard markets in Australia and New Zealand. “Miranda has proven capabilities and experience in Hitachi’s Digital Presentation Solutions Division, making her the ideal person to help drive sales and market share within this market,” said Dipak Kumar, General Manager, Digital Technology Solutions group, Hitachi Australia. “I am confident that Miranda’s expertise will generate new sales through our partnerships with authorised dealers to make Hitachi the brand leader for Digital Presentation Solutions in Australia and New Zealand.”
Fong originally joined Hitachi Australia from Horizon Media, and had similar sales roles at QR National and Queensland Rail.
