CDC appointee to head Praxa Australia

The services arm of CDC Global Services in Australia, Praxa, has appointed a new general manager to oversee all of the company’s professional services, outsourced services, customer support, short and long-term projects involving contractors and educational services offered across Australia.



To be based in Sydney, 30-year IT industry veteran, Jim Christie has been appointed to manage and grow the Praxa operation, including overseeing the expansion of the company’s its service offerings. 

Prior to joining Praxa, Christie was involved in projects with major accounts including Reserve Bank of Australia, Warner Music, Del Monte and Bureau of Statistics and Land Information New Zealand.

“Praxa is very pleased to have Jim join the team,” said Frank Hung, managing director, CDC Praxa.

“Building talented and successful sales and service delivery teams that are customer-focused is important to us. Jim has a strong proven track record in managing large multi-national accounts and has a deep understanding of both business and IT issues, particularly in retail, manufacturing, government, banking and the telco industries. His insight and experience will help us enormously as we focus on growing our customer relationships.”
