SAP Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) has appointed a new industry principal for banking as part of the company's Industry Business Solutions (IBS) team.



Claudia Wilkerling, previously with SAP Germany, will take on responsibility for SAP ANZ local bank customers, as well as strengthening adaption of SAP suites and services for the local sector. With SAP Germany, Wilkerling most recently served in the business transformation consulting team, including working with several high-profile customers largely focused on implementations in the analytical banking area.

Greg Harbor, director of value engineering and IBS, for SAP ANZ, said Wilkerling's expertise 'will provide ANZ banking customers with an international perspective, giving them insights to remain competitive in their own market, as well as the larger global market. With the growth our financial enterprise customers have seen through her efforts in Germany, I have no doubt that Claudia will be a notable asset to our customers in ANZ as well.'

Wilkerling joined SAP in 2005. Prior to joining SAP, she worked with several large German banks in the retail, asset management, and IT departments.
