Mobile operators get fixed price spectrum renewal in $3b Government windfall

The Government has offered Australia's three mobile operators, and vividwireless, renewal of their existing spectrum allocated on 15 year licences in the late 90s and early 2000s at set prices, while the Government expects to rake in $3 billion.

Compuware's Katanasho takes on solutions sales director role

Compuware has appointed Rafi Katanasho as solutions sales director, applications performance management for Australia, New Zealand and Japan.


"This is a critical role for the development and ongoing success of Compuware's application performance management business,” said Steve Tack, the company's vice president, application performance management.

"We have a clear focus in Australia, New Zealand and Japan to grow the market and become the undisputed leader in Application Performance Management. Rafi, with his many years of industry experience and intimate knowledge of Compuware, will lead our efforts in helping achieve that objective," he added.

Katanasho has worked in the IT industry for over 17 years focusing on Application Performance Management, Business Service Management and IT Service Management with experience in both technical and sales leadership. He joined Compuware in 2007.

He has an Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the University of Sydney and holds an ITIL Manager's Certificate (ITIL Masters).
