Wavelink waves Kowalski aboard

Wireless and communications distributor Wavelink Communications has appointed Jacek Kowalski as its manager of technology convergence.


Kowalski was most recently director of technology convergence at Docomo Intertouch.

His previous positions include the chief technology officer at Azure Wireless (which was acquired by Docomo Intertouch), senior technical management roles at startup companies such as IntelliGuard IT and ApplicationStation, technical consultant at companies such as Telstra, ANZ and NAB, and principal consultant at Praxa.

The first decade of Kowalski's career were spent at R&D institutions including the Polish Academy of Science, the Teletraffic Research Centre at the University of Adelaide, and Telstra Research Laboratories.

Kowalski holds an MSc from the University of Warsaw and a PhD from Flinders University.
