HP makes multiple executive appointments

HP has announced several senior executive appointments, notably in its enterprise business.


Thomas Hogan has been appointed executive vice president of sales, marketing and strategy for HP's enterprise business. He previously led the software and solutions business unit.

"Tom's track record of results, growth and leadership will be critical to our commitment and opportunity for market leadership in the enterprise," said Ann Livermore, executive vice president, HP enterprise business.

Francesco Serafini has been appointed to the newly created role of executive vice president of emerging markets. Serafini was most recently senior vice president and managing director for HP Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Jan Zadak, most recently senior vice president of Sales for HP's enterprise business in EMEA, will replace Serafini as senior vice president and managing director for HP EMEA.

Richard Geraffo Jr has been appointed senior vice president and managing director for the Americas. He was most recently vice president and general manager, Americas for VMware, and previously held leadership positions at BEA and IBM.

Geraffo's predecessor, Tom Iannotti, was recently appointed to lead HP enterprise services.
