iSoft hires Jackman, relocates Miller

Health IT company iSoft has appointed Mike Jackman as group operations director, and Robert Miller as president, North America.

"We are delighted to have two extremely capable and experienced managers in these new executive roles," said executive chairman and CEO Gary Cohen

"I look forward to having Mike Jackman's expertise as part of our executive team. Robert Miller's proven management experience and his knowledge of iSoft's broad portfolio of healthcare IT solutions will provide a significant boost to our US plans," he added.

Jackman was most recently president, global sales and service at Carestream Health (formerly Eastman Kodak).

He previously held various senior positions at IBM, including CTO of the personal systems group and COO of the ThinkPad team.

Miller's appointment follows iSoft's acquisition of BridgeForward Software.  He is currently group commercial director at iSoft, and will relocate fro the UK to the US in March.
