Storage networking specialist, Brocade Communications Systems, has appointed Mick McKenzie as business solutions consultant based in Sydney. McKenzie joins Brocade with 32 years’ experience in the IT industry. He is responsible for providing installation consultancy and professional services to OEM and reseller channel partners and customers across Brocade’s suite of solutions. Prior to joining Brocade, McKenzie was senior network engineer at NetEffects, where he was responsible for designing a range of IP and SAN networks. Previous experience also includes three years at McDATA as Senior Systems Engineer for ANZ. He also spent two years in a similar role at Quantum ATL, where he managed the integration of large automated tape libraries in SANs.
