Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.
F5 Networks, a company specialising in application traffic management, technologies has opened a branch in New Zealand, in Auckland and appointed Martin Mooney country manager.
Mooney said his top priority was to grow the F5 business within the enterprise and telecommunications sectors while supporting the company's established distributors and channel partners, Observatory Crest, Datacom and Optimation.
Ms Leong Yee May, F5's vice president For Asia Pacific, said: "Our business in the Asia Pacific region has grown consecutively for the last fifteen quarters. New Zealand has contributed to that growth, and we expect this to continue because its enterprise market has demonstrated a great deal of enthusiasm for adopting application traffic management as a core foundation for business efficiency."
Mooney previously held senior positions with Compuware, Foundry Networks and InterConnect.
