Primus names new manager for 'business improvement'

Primus Telecom has appointed Marion Macleod as head of business improvement, reporting to managing director, Greg Wilson.

She will be responsible for ensuring that the systems and processes behind all of Primus' products and services are operating efficiently and in a way that fully meets customer needs.

Wilson said: "Marion will play a key role in streamlining operational procedures so that we are delivering products that are relevant to the market and doing so in a way that is simple, convenient and cost effective for our customers. This will help to drive internal change within the organisation so that the focus is on our customers, and on ensuring everything we do is aligned to our business strategy."

McLeod joined Telstra in 1994 as market research manager, before taking the role of national marketing operations manager at Telstra Mobiles. She later became the head of strategy and business planning in customer management before leaving in 2002 to join consulting group, IMR. She commenced her own business, Core Management Solutions, in 2004.
