Dell has beefed up its Australian and New Zealand management team with three new appointments for its SMB and channel divisions.
The company has appointed a dedicated SMB
channel director for Australia and New Zealand, with an eight-year Dell
veteran, Jay Turner assuming the role of ANZ Director of Channels,
charged with driving growth and investment into Dell’s PartnerDirect
channel program, and to focus on expanding the company’s SMB footprint,
including working with partners to enhance modular services offerings
for small and medium businesses.
Turner has worked in senior leadership positions within Dell including
marketing, strategic planning, and brand and database marketing for
Asia Pacific and Japan, and prior to Dell he spent two years at Gateway
as marketing manager for consumer, and four years at Tech Pacific.
Also appoint ted by Dell is Cath Hodgson-Croker as SMB Marketing
Director for Australia and New Zealand. Hodgson-Croker will be
responsible for Dell’s SMB marketing and brand teams.
Hodgson-Croker joins Dell from 13 years at Symantec where she was most
recently vice president for channel sales across Asia Pacific.
And, James Arnold has been appointed as Dell’s new channel manager for
ANZ, returning to the company after seven years working with Lenovo and
IBM in Australia, Taiwan and New Zealand.
Arnold assumes the role of Dell country channel manager and will oversee the expansion of partnerships in that country.
Dell say this leadership expansion supports the continued investment
into delivery of Dell SMB-specific solutions and technology to the more
than 72 million small and medium-sized businesses worldwide, and more
than two million in Australia and New Zealand.
