Telstra adds one million mobile services, but Sensis plummets

NetIQ, a provider of integrated systems and security management solutions, has appointed David Taylor as regional director of Asia Pacific and Emma Duncan as marketing manager Asia Pacific.

Taylor is charged with developing corporate, product and business-development strategies in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, India, Philippines, Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam. Duncan will introduce direct marketing programs and will focus on expanding the company’s channel marketing initiatives throughout the region.

Taylor joined NetIQ in October 2003 as regional director of Australia and New Zealand. One of the first tasks in his new role will be to review the existing go-to-market strategies and channel partner models across the region.

“We are looking to appoint new channel partners and to enable our existing channel partners to deliver on NetIQ’s knowledge-based service assurance strategy. NetIQ’s strategic goal is to provide customers with the knowledge and ability necessary to ensure that their businesses are secure, available, performing optimally and also compliant with legal and corporate policies," he said.
