Clem Doherty and Terrence Francis have been appointed as directors of NBN Co.
The Federal Government has appointed Clem Doherty and Terrence Francis to the board of NBN Co.
"I am very pleased to welcome the appointment of Mr Doherty and Mr Francis as NBN Co directors and am sure they will make a great contribution," said Stephen Conroy, Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy.
Lindsay Tanner, Minister for Finance and Deregulation said "I am delighted that the two directors have agreed to commence their roles immediately. They will join the existing board in setting the strategic direction for the company and its senior management."
Doherty is a former director of McKinsey & Company, and is chairman of angel investment company Like Minded Individuals.
Francis is a former banking senior executive, and holds directorships at the Emergency Services Telecommunications Authority, ANZ Specialist Asset Management, ANZ Business Equity Fund, Boom Logistics, and the Northern Victorian Irrigation Modernisation Project.
Their appointments bring the size of the board to seven.
