New GM for messaging company, Infostream

Sydney-based Infostream, which claims to be a world leader in the design and production of wireless messaging systems, has appointed Jim Christie as general manager of its Infostream Professional Services Group, which specialises in creating and managing high performance computer networks. Christie was previously managing director of Aprisma's Asia Pacific. Before that he held a number of sales, marketing and general management roles including senior vice president for Sanyo Icon, division manager for EMC and vice president, worldwide marketing for MAI Basic Four.
