Web hoster destra Corporation Limited (ASX:DES) has appointed for Netscape Australia managing director Clive Mayhew to the newly created role of General Manager of its media subsidiary, destra Media. Mayhew is known in Australia for his high profile roles as Netscape's founding managing director and Solution 6's group marketing director. In 1999, he was recruited to work in America with Internet Music company CDNOW running the international operations. He also launched the Chello iTV commercial relationships within Europe. Since his return to Australia in July 2005, Mayhew has been consulting to internet company Realestate.com.au helping develop its New Zealand operations.
