Perth based QPSX, which specialises in the assertion and commercialisation of intellectual property rights, has appointed a former IP executive of Amazon.com (UK), Jonathan Lawe Davies to its senior management team.
QPSX CEO, Graham Griffiths, said that Lawe Davies' "demonstrated ability to exploit intellectual property rights in international jurisdictions will ensure that QPSX continues to expand it's IP assertion portfolio and deliver substantial revenues from the portfolio over the coming years."
Prior to Amazon.com, Lawe Davies was a solicitor at Mishcon de Reya, a UK based law firm, in the corporate and commercial department advising on information technology, e-commerce, and intellectual property matters. Before that he was an associate solicitor in the intellectual property department of Australian law firm Freehills, advising on the protection and exploitation of intellectual property rights.
