InterSystems cops Capp as country manager

InterSystems it has appointed Stan Capp as its country manager for  Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.

"This region is home to some of the most innovative software development companies, many who embed InterSystems technology for competitive advantage," said Capp.

"I look forward to growing strong partnerships with new and existing application partners to make their businesses even more successful."

InterSystems' Caché object database has a significant number of users in the health sector, and the company's product range also includes the TrakCare healthcare information system and the HealthShare health information exchange platform.

Capp has over 25 years experience as a CEO for healthcare organisations in Australia and internationally, most recently in the United Arab Emirates as project leader for the review of Dubai's Public Health Services, and technical director for VHA Global.

He previously served as chief executive of Southern Health, the largest health service in Victoria.

Capp holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, a Master of Administration from Monash University, a Doctor of Health Sciences from Deakin University and is Adjunct Professor in the School of Public Health at La Trobe University.
