Open Text's new ECM sales appointment

ECM vendor, Open Text has appointed a manager for business development and account management to cover the southern region of Australia from Melbourne.

Open Text announced the appointment of former Objective Corporation business development manager, Matthew Haag, as Southern Region Account Manager responsible for focusing on business development and account management to “address the growing demand for Open Text solutions.”

Prior to Objective, Haag was business development manager at CCH responsible for government, financial services, accounting and legal markets business. He previously worked for Leo Burnett, LexisNexis and Fairfax Interactive Network in account management and media buying.

Haag said Open Text’s Sydney and Melbourne offices service both private and public sector organisations in Victoria, including VicRoads, South East Water, Aurecon and Jemena.  He also said that Open Text Records Management, a core component of its ECM Suite, is now fully compliant with VERS (Victorian Electronic Records Strategy), “one of Australia's most exacting records management standards.”
