Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.

Macquarie Telecom has appointed Olaf Moon, former head of the ACT Government’s IT group InTACT, as general manager government hosting and security. Moon has more than 22 years experience in both state and federal government. In addition to his role at InTACT, Moon consulted to the Queensland Government to establish its successful industry development strategy which encourages IT company’s to headquarter in the State. He has also undertaken a consultancy with the Tasmanian Government to review its telecommunications infrastructure.
