Fuji Xerox focus on Australian management

IT People - People

Fuji Xerox Australia has followed up the recent appointment of its new managing director with the promotion of two senior managers to pursue its goal of maintaining what it says is a market leading position in business imaging.

The company’s Australian managing director, Nick Kugenthiran, who was appointed in July, today announced the promotions of Andy Berry, formerly general manager of Fuji Xerox Global Services, as director and general manager of the company’s integrated sales and marketing division, and Anthony Cogswell as the new general manager of Fuji Xerox Global Services to replace Berry.

Kugenthiran said Berry and Cogswell had 34 years combined experience at Fuji Xerox and would contribute to the company’s “ongoing positive growth and leadership in the business imaging market.”

Kugenthiran said Berry’s main focus would be to “ensure Fuji Xerox continues to maintain a clear leadership position in its served markets, namely office output devices, digital workflow solutions, and print production press and workflow solutions.”

According to Berry, who first worked for Fuji Xerox 20 years ago in the London office and joined the Australian company in 2004, “in a highly commoditised and price competitive print market, Fuji Xerox continues to “innovate and deliver solutions that meet evolving customer needs.”

Kugenthiran said that in his new role, Anthony Cogswell would be responsible for maintaining Fuji Xerox’s “strong growth and expanding its portfolio of managed document services.” He said the division provided a range of document outsourcing and business process services and solutions to the corporate, government and education sectors, and in the last financial year had achieved more than 20 per cent growth.
