Queensland legal practice management software developer, Lawmaster, has announced senior staff appointments in Sydney and Adelaide. Sydney based Rob Laird has been appointed director of business development and is responsible for sales, marketing and alliances. Most recently he spent six years with IBM as Asia Pacific strategic alliance manager. Prior to that, heworked as an IT consultant in the industrial, manufacturing and petroleum sectors. He also spent time developing systems for the NSW Law Society. David Cowburn is responsible for sales, implementation services for new clients and those who are upgrading in South Australia. Cowburn joined LawMaster from the Crown Solicitor’s Office (CSO) in South Australia where he was involved in the implementation and support of LawMaster for five years. Prior to the CSO, he set up and administered a statistical database application in the retail industry.
