Hodge, the former head of Supply Chain Consulting, will
assume responsibility for the operations and management of Fujitsu’s
SAP practice, which Vawdrey said had become “the largest in South East
Asia, comprising more than 500 SAP practitioners.
“Ian manages the new capabilities of Fujitsu
since the acquisition of Supply Chain and the upcoming projects in the
region, as part of Fujitsu’s broad-based IT services for enterprise
customers.”
Vawdrey said that for over 25 years Hodge had worked in senior
management positions in the software and IT services sector in
Australia, including five years with SAP where, as part of the
Australian executive team, he was responsible for sales in key
industries.
As the newly appointed group executive director of federal government
for Fujitsu, Michael Blake says the company is “committed to helping
the Federal Government gain real benefits through the delivery of IT
services and solutions.”
Vawdrey said Blake had extensive experience providing large and complex
IT based systems to the Federal Government that enable agencies to
deliver their programs, and he said the new management team would give
Fujitsu’s offerings a “competitive strength to drive strong and steady
growth in various sectors across the region.”
