Business technology services provider, Avanade, has appointed a new head of its Australian and New Zealand business, with his predecessor taking on a regional Asia Pacific role.
Jeyan Jeevaratnam, who was for two years
Avanade’s head of sales & marketing in Australia, has been
appointed to vice president for Australia and New Zealand, replacing
Craig Dower, who has been promoted to APAC president and general
manager of Avanade’s South East Asia, Australia and China operation.
Dower said today Jeevaratnam would be responsible for leading Avanade’s
sales growth in Australia and New Zealand, and brought to the job more
than 20 years’ experience in a variety of sales and management roles in
the information communications technology industry.
“His technical understanding combined with his extensive strategic
business and marketing experience offers Avanade an outstanding manager
in these critical markets. These strengths will enable us to continue
to help our customers succeed and, in turn, position us well for future
growth.”
Jeevaratnam previously worked in sales and management with AT&T and
IBM, and was most recently managing director of AT&T for Australia
and New Zealand.
