Search marketing agency, FirstClick has raided Google ranks to secure two new appointees to boost its business development efforts in Sydney and Melbourne.
FirstClick has announced the appointment of Mark
Armstrong to head up its new Melbourne operations and appointed Stuart
Bartram as head of business development in Sydney. Both are former
Google employees with experience in search engine marketing and
optimisation.
FirstClick managing director and founder, Grace Chu, says the snaring
of two former Google employees – search marketing industry
“heavyweights” - represents a “great coup for FirstClick.”
“At FirstClick, we invest heavily in identifying, attracting and
keeping the best talents in the industry. Mark’s and Stuart’s decision
to join FirstClick speaks volumes of our standard of service and
reputation in the market.”
According to Chu, the appointments underline FirstClick’s continued
“high rate of growth and strengthen its business expansion across
Australia.”
“With more than 12 years experience in search and online marketing,
Mark Armstrong brings an enviable track record, regarded by many as a
leading force in the Australian search engine marketing (SEM) and
search engine optimisation (SEO) industry.
“At FirstClick, he will expand the company’s presence in the Melbourne
market, where FirstClick sees an opportunity for greater competition
and client choice.”
