Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.
AAPT has drawn from within its own ranks to boost its senior management team as chief executive, Paul Broad pursues a strategy to drive increased business to its consumer, business and wholesale divisions.
Announcing three new senior managers, the AAPT
chief said today the appointees reflected the company’s continued
growth strategy and the “ramping up of all three areas of our business
in the next 12 months.”
Broad announced the appointment of Nick Saphin as general manager
consumer and corporate marketing, Mark Rafferty has taken up the
position of general manager business solutions and Stephen Dunn has
been appointed general manager of wholesale.
Saphin joined AAPT from PowerTel in 2007, when Telecom NZ acquired the
business telco, and prior to PowerTel he worked with EnergyAustralia.
Rafferty was previously AAPT’s Queensland Manager and also worked with
PowerTel as its Queensland manager, and previous to that with
IntraPower. Dunn was previously AAPT’s head of international carriers
for AAPT and has also worked in the IT&T industry in Australia and
internationally for more than 14 years.
