Wholesale telecommunications services vendor, Vocus, has brought in a new account manager as part of its stated strategy and claim to deliver services which will “shake up” the Australian wholesale telecommunications industry.
It’s a grand claim by the wholesaler, and it has
appointed telecommunications specialist, Paula Kalleske, to drive its
market strategy after previously working for 10 years in the industry
with AAPT/Connect, Comindico, and most recently for four years with
Verizon.
Vocus commercial manager, Dan Whitford, said he believed that
Kalleske’s strong, open communication style and industry experience
would be a real asset to the company.
Whitford said Kalleske’s appointment followed “hot on the heels” of
record results for Vocus, when the company recorded new sales of $4.5
million for the March quarter.
“Paula’s technical knowledge and industry experience mean that she can
build a great rapport with clients which will ensure we will continue
to deliver the excellent service our clients have come to expect from
us.”
Kalleske said “Vocus is forward thinking, fast paced and has one of the
most experienced teams in the industry,” adding that “they are
committed to shaking up the wholesale telecommunications industry and
delivering excellent service across the board and I’m very pleased to
be part of such a successful and entrepreneurial company.”
