Pitney Bowes pushing Australian expansion

Global mailstream solutions and services provider, Pitney Bowes, has established a new services division in Australia and appointed a new head of the division to drive expansion of the company’s advanced mailing system technologies in the Australian business market.

The company today announced the appointment of Philip Wardley as director of its new services division, with responsibility for enhancing the company’s overall service offering with its traditional mailing products and for introducing new mailing software and hardware solutions to the Australian market.
 
Wardley was formerly head of Equant’s consultancy service in the Asia-Pacific region and previously worked with Orange Business Services in Asia, and for Wang Australia, Scitec and Memorex Telex.
 
Wardley said today Pitney Bowes has an “excellent customer base and strong market share in Australia” and was in a good position to “increase its footprint in the Australian market and offer more sophisticated services that reduce cost and improve their business mail operations.”
