Sybase, a provider of enterprise infrastructure and mobile software, has named three new senior sales and channel executive appointments
It says these "will provide the organisation with a platform to secure market growth opportunities in the telecommunications, financial services and government sectors as well as enhance support and training for the organisation's local channel partner base which now includes more than 300 companies."
Stephen Dolan has been appointed director of alliances and Channels. He joins Sybase with more than 25 years experience in sales and channel management in database, datawarehousing and business intelligence. He will be responsible for developing Sybase's partner network with a particular focus on OEM, reseller and systems integrator partners in the mobility, data warehousing and business continuity segments. He was most recently sales manager Asia Pacific for global IT solutions company, Levi, Ray & Shoup.
Ian Schumann has been appointed strategic account manager, government market, based in Canberra. He has previously worked for a range of vendors including Sperry, NEC, Compaq and HP across the IT space from mainframe-based to PC-based solutions. Most recently, he consulted to Federal Government agencies on outsourced contracts management before joining Meta Group as federal region manager.
Susan Harden has joined Sybase as a presales consultant based in Sydney focusing on business intelligence. She was previously, bid manager at Symantec.
