Acresso Software has grabbed a 15 year IT sales veteran from IBM to head up its Asia Pacific business.
Brett Ison, most recently IBM’s director-business
development and operations in Korea, has been appointed Acresso’s
general manager Asia Pacific, based in Sydney, and responsible for
managing the company’s sales teams and customer relationships, as well
as driving sales and support for Acresso’s range of software solutions
for licensing, compliance and entitlement relationship management in
Australia, Japan, Korea, China Taiwan and the ASEAN region.
Acresso president and CEO, Mark Bishof, says Ison’s experience will
enable Acresso to “address the specific licensing and compliance
challenges faced by organisations in the Asia Pacific region and play
an integral role in our continued expansion.”
Bishof says the company’s FLEXnet manager suite software would help
Australian organisations avoid license violations and over-spending by
automatically inventorying Oracle deployments.
